Global Chimney Sweep is a locally owned chimney and venting company based in Mokena, Illinois. We handle the full system — sweeping, inspection, repair, relining, caps and crowns, gas fireplace service, dryer vents, and air ducts — for homeowners across the south suburbs. We are not a national call center that dispatches whoever is available; when you hire us, you get the owner and an experienced crew who do this work every day and stand behind it.

Mark Vega is the award-winning, trusted owner of Global Chimney Sweep — an experienced team leader and employer who has spent more than a decade working on chimneys and venting systems across the Chicago south suburbs. As owner and lead technician, he is on the job personally, and he leads and stands behind the crew that carries the same standards to every home. Over the years he has swept, inspected, relined, and repaired thousands of chimneys, and in 2017 his work earned recognition as a local favorite chimney sweep service — a point of pride he credits to doing honest work and treating customers right.

Mark’s approach is hands-on and no-nonsense. He would rather spend five extra minutes showing you a photo of your flue and explaining what it means than rush to the next job. That habit — of teaching customers what is actually going on with their chimney — is the heart of how Global Chimney Sweep operates.
